A person who has wide interests and is an expert in several areas. An International sportsperson, A Rotarian, President of Telangana Rifle Association, Vice President of National Rifle Association of India, and Managing Director of Sanghi Spinners India Limited. He also served as a Sarpanch of a Village.

Renowned Shooter:

Amit Sanghi will forever hold a place in Shooting Sports history as India’s renowned shooter.

The Gold medal in Individual Category at 33rd National Games 2007 was the crowning glory in Amit Sanghi’s stellar sporting career, which includes Gold medals (Team Category), Gold medal in National Shooting competition 2006, and many more laurels.

Born on 2nd October 1977 in Hyderabad, the future Shooting Sports Champion began his sporting journey after taking inspiration from the shooters he saw on television.

Success soon came his way. The Indian shooter went to achieve a milestone of National Record Holder (Skeet) shooting, India’s First World Participant Ranker, India’s First Asian Ranker and also represented the country in World Cup, World Championship, Common Wealth Games, Asian Championship, and International Level many shooting competitions on many occasions.

It was a breakthrough year as he won Gold medals at various events. Amit Sanghi also participated in various shooting championships like the 2007 Asian Clay Shooting Championships in the Philippines, the 2006 Asian Clay Shooting Championships in Singapore, ISSF World Cup at Rome in 2005, and many more.

After hanging up his rifle for good, Amit Sanghi turned his attention to the field of business as he obtained a commerce degree and belonged to a well-known industrialist’s family. 

He also started many initiatives whose aim was to make athletes stronger and more aware of using sports science and technology. Apart from this, the ex-shooter has also given back to the sport in other ways.

He is presently the Vice President of the National Rifle Association of India. Presently, he is serving the Shooting Sports Community as the President of the Telangana Rifle Association. Amit Sanghi has also held various positions in the Shooting Sports fraternity including Vice President of Telangana Olympic Association, President of Hyderabad Rifle Association, and General Secretary of Rifle Association of Ranga Reddy District.

Rotarian:

In 2020, Amit Sanghi was invited by a friend to a meeting at Rotary Club Lake District, Moinabad. He heard about Rotary Clubs, but he did not know exactly how it worked. This gathering allowed Mr. Amit Sanghi to see how people used friendship to strengthen themselves and unite efforts to make an impact in communities in need as a way to contribute to world peace. Thus, the welcoming atmosphere as well as the desire to make the world a better place motivated him to become a member of this Club.

As months passed since then, time in which he has been able to contribute and participate in numerous social projects. Few ideas were being worked upon, the most important have been carried out in the southern part of India where partnerships, co-responsibility, and mutual efforts have been vital to successfully accomplish ambitious and sustainable goals to achieve long-lasting results.  

Mr. Amit Sanghi feels very delighted to support these initiatives and visit those communities to see how the contributions of Rotary Club Lake District, Moinabad are giving abundant fruits. Currently, Mr. Amit Sanghi is working closely with his fellow club members of Rotary Club Lake District, Moinabad in a process of adopting remote villages and working towards their sustainable overall development by running various social projects.

He is a human being who breathes service and strives always to make the world a better place for the one who luckily surrounds him. He is a caring, supportive, respectful, patient, and extremely kind person.

He really embeds the Rotarian spirit.

Fitness Freak:

It doesn’t matter if you are found in the gym or not, your eyes can never miss someone like Amit Sanghi, the famous industrialist, international shooter, and President for an association. At the moment, he is leading a few companies on his professional front. He is an extremely dedicated professional and fitness freak.

The best thing about Amit Sanghi is that he eats a well-balanced diet and never misses his regular workouts at the gym. He hits the gym 7 days a week, despite his hectic schedule. His workout pattern includes a wide combination of weights as well as cardio exercises. While the weights allow him to have a larger body, the cardio exercises boost up his stamina him. This combination has helped him develop muscles in the most appropriate manner, thanks to which he has such a remarkable body at present.

Sarpanch:

Mr. Amit Sanghi was the Sarpanch of his village Omerkhan Daira (Sanghi Nagar), approximately 30 kilometers from Hyderabad for 5 years. Though holding an elected post, Amit Sanghi was not affiliated with any political party. He had been reported to be one of the youngest people to hold the office of Sarpanch.

Amit Sanghi was born in Hyderabad, Telangana. He is a commerce graduate. He belongs to a well-known industrialist family from Hyderabad.

Amit Sanghi used to divide his time between village, Omerkhan Daira (Sanghi Nagar), and Hyderabad where he lived with his parents. Amit Sanghi has a commerce degree and he is one of the few Sarpanch in Telangana with a degree.

Amit Sanghi left his family business and city life to help develop rural India. With this vision, he became the Sarpanch of Omerkhan Daira (Sanghi Nagar). He is very good in meeting people and he used to take a lead in the development of Omerkhan Daira (Sanghi Nagar). After becoming the Sarpanch of the village, he had implemented many projects successfully i.e. rainwater harvesting, toilet facilities in most of the houses, etc.

During his 5 years tenure as a Sarpanch of Omerkhan Daira (Sanghi Nagar), he contributed a lot towards the development of village through many works like waterline installations, proper drainage system, Anganwadi services in the village, night schools for elders, and many more.

President – Telangana Rifle Association:

As President of the Telangana Rifle Association, Amit Sanghi is a leading voice for young people today, advancing the shooting sports enthusiast’s understanding of the value of sports for everyone as an essential developmental and challenging experience.

Amit Sanghi is actively advancing the strategies in the Shooting Sport against the prevalent tide of challenges affecting today’s youth while teaching the mindsets, skills, and dispositions everyone needs to thrive in this challenging sport.

Through Amit Sanghi’s leadership, Telangana Rifle Association has adopted a bold and ambitious strategic plan to accelerate Telangana Rile Association Mission and Vision by; expanding its reach, relevance, and equitable accessibility; championing quality; and amplifying the value of sports experience in the prospective and talented shooting sports enthusiasts. Prior to serving as President of the Telangana Rifle Association, Amit Sanghi had a distinguished long career in shooting sport with a lot of laurels under his belt for the country.

As a volunteer, Amit Sanghi served in diverse domains, including the manufacturing sector. Amit Sanghi melds his experience into his profession with sport expertise, inspirational vision, successful fundraising experience, professional agility, organizational skills, and strategic focus. Amit Sanghi and his family lives in Hyderabad, Telangana.

Managing Director – Sanghi Spinners India Limited:

On the surface, Amit Sanghi is an accomplished Industrialist with over 15 years of experience in the Manufacturing Sector. Amit Sanghi always ensures the viability of a multi-million production portfolio long-term.

He's so efficient at his job that he considers himself as an "Industrial whisperer." Amit Sanghi has the ability to take unproductive production processes and transform them into healthy and thriving ones. Because of his skills, Amit Sanghi can produce productive and long-lasting results for high-level clients.

He caters to major companies all our India. He works well with senior corporate executives and can provide consultations for international corporations.

More than his role as a Managing Director, he is also effective at persuading and influencing high-ranking individuals. His opinions are highly valued; people trust and respect his judgments. Through his keen interest & observations, he developed a passionate interest in Financial Planning in the manufacturing sector.

In particular, he focused on topics like sustainable development, optimized production, labor laws, and operations management. After he graduated, Amit Sanghi worked hard to attain his role as a Managing Director for 2 years.

For his most recent two-year tenure as a Managing Director, Amit Sanghi had successfully nourished his insatiable passion. He did this by conducting research about the strategies and innovations of emerging technologies in the manufacturing sector in both national and international arenas.

He wants to engage more with influential decision-makers and thought leaders in the international manufacturing consortium. He's open to challenges, conversations, and an exchange of ideas from the top players in the manufacturing industry.

His long-term goal is to become a top national-level textile product supplier. He wants to use his untiring commitment and drive to bring more innovative ideas, strategies, and action plans to textiles industries in the manufacturing sector.

Amit Sanghi had a lot of significant professional experiences as a Managing Director. He created several tools to help his company evaluate operational requirements more accurately and improve the forecasting of finances. He also monitors and assesses the performance of sales groups, evaluates market conditions weekly, and examines revenue trends. Apart from this, Amit Sanghi also created a model of analysis that improved the sales of the company's main product. He did this by correlating the sales data based on advertising and marketing expenditures.

Moreover, Amit Sanghi supervised the transition of the company to a long supply-chain-based supplier in the textile industries arena. This eliminated warehouse downtime and redundancies which, in turn, generated more savings each year. He works closely with the company's executives to come up with budgets through financial analyses.

Taking his professional thirst to next level, Amit Sanghi started a new venture of “Warehousing Unit” measuring about 10 lakh sft. With this initiative, Amit Sanghi aims to add remarkable value to the Storage and Logistics Sector.
